Operations Manager
About This Role:

Quadrant is looking for an Operations Manager to manage day-to-day operations involving shipping and receiving; maintain and develop quality control processes and procedures; manage inventory of stock and custom products; communicate and manage logistics of international and domestic freight; work directly as a customer support and internal Business Development support for all items related to quality, inventory, and logistics.

Job Description:

  • Shipping Management

Oversee and manage day-to-day operations with order fulfillment ensuring all orders are accurately packaged and processed; supervise all shipping staff; manage inventory of supplies and packaging materials.

  • Inventory Management

Ensure appropriate inventory levels for stock items are maintained by generating and analyzing weekly reports; place orders with suppliers as needed, assist Warehouse Supervisor with annual inventory audits; implement and maintain inventory technology systems as needed

  • Quality Control Management

Develop and maintain internal quality control systems and procedures including documentation of all processes.

  • Logistics Management

Communicate with shipping companies and freight forwarders; handle all shipping and freight inquiries with customers and internal staff; work directly with our China team on shipping schedules and lead times for all stock orders and specific customer accounts.

  • Facilities Management

Keep the facilities clean, safe, and well organized; suggest upgrades to facilities when necessary, and assist with the communication of contractors as needed.

  • Business Development Support

Communicate directly with customers pertaining to stock and custom orders regarding freight and logistics; manage accounts that involve specific inventory and logistics management; work with the Business Development and Sales team for support in matters related to stock and custom orders, freight, quality control, and documentation; partner with our marketing efforts reflective in packaging and website maintenance.

  • Able to evaluate situations and provide solutions and suggestions.  Critical thinking is a must.

  • Extremely organized and able to handle and manage multiple internal projects simultaneously and independently.

  • Computer skills and able to learn new programs.  Microsoft Word & Excel is a must, will teach other programs as needed to perform the job.

  • Able to handle multiple disciplines within the company.

  • Excellent communication skills including written and verbal, with the ability to formally present information to a customer or within the team

  • Flexible and adaptable.

  • Ability to provide a positive customer, co-worker, and supplier experience.

  • Must be willing to travel.
