Business Development Manager
About This Role:

Quadrant is looking for an Business Development Manager to strengthen our European team in Hanau, Germany, and 

identify and close new business opportunities in all markets for PERMANENT MAGNETS AND ASSEMBLIES.

The Business Development Manager must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical personnel. Must be able to identify all technical issues of obtained accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. The Business Development Manager is primarily responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process. Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.

Job Description:

  • Responsible for the business development in Central Europe

  • Research, identify, and continually search for new clients who could benefit from company products or services and maximizing customer potential in designated regions

  • Establish new, and maintaining existing, long-term relationships with customers

  • Manage and interpret customer requirements by applying good listening and technical interpretation to understand, anticipate and exceed their needs

  • Work closely with engineering teams and Quadrant management to identify and present customer and resolve problems until completion.  

  • Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing   events

  • Make technical presentations as needed, soliciting the assistance of other Quadrant International resources if necessary, and demonstrate how a product will meet client needs


  • Excellent communication skills

  • Business development experience ideally dealing with magnetic materials / applications

  • Must be self-motivated with a proven track record in EMS sales and knowledge of manufacturing technology.

  • Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFI’s, RFQ’s, RFPs, and when submitting reports.

  • Excellent sales and closing skills.

  • Fluency in English

  • Willingness to travel
